Hi, I’m Alison, Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and creator of the Momentum Method, a signature approach designed to help women over 40 build strength, boost metabolism, and feel like themselves again.
My Journey
After the birth of my second child, I felt completely stuck: low energy, out of shape, and discouraged. I was busy taking care of everyone else and losing myself in the process. I knew I needed a change, not just physically but mentally and emotionally, too. That’s what led me to the fitness profession 14 years ago. I wanted to help others while helping myself.
Over the years I got strong. I got energized. I
felt amazing.
But in my mid-forties, things started shifting. Despite everything I knew and practiced, my energy crashed. My body started changing in unfamiliar ways. The workouts and strategies that once worked… stopped working. That turning point led me to dive deeper into understanding how to support women in midlife.
A New Chapter in Wellness
Like many of the women I now coach, I hit a point where I knew I needed a different approach.
So I stopped chasing perfection and started focusing on what I knew deep down: that sustainable strength training, nourishing nutrition, and a more compassionate approach to movement could help me reconnect with my body - and feel like myself again, only stronger.
That experience became the foundation of the Momentum Method and the heart of how I coach today.
